I forgot to big about this earlier, so I'll do it now. Better late than never! On Sunday night, our last night in Kamphaeng Phet, our Thai friends surprised us with a birthday party for Morgan. They showed up to our hotel for dinner with a cake and presents. It was the nicest thing. We had only know them for a week and they went out of their way to plan the whole thing. Not to mention all the gifts they brought her. Granted they were small gifts, but still to have thought and spent time buying then was so thoughtful and generous!
We spent the night eating and hanging out. It was so nice to have die relaxing time with them outside of the education setting. It felt as of we had all been friends for a long time. We were singing, dancing, telling jokes...just a great time. I wish it was not the last time we got to see them.
I am going to miss them so much. Even though I did not become close with all, they were all so nice to us all and helped us all the time. I will especially miss the 4 friends I became very close with: Pad, Jane, Toey, and Oh. These 4 made the trip so much more relaxing and comforting. They made sure I was always happy and taken care of. They would offer to get things all the time. I am extremely thankful for all they did for me. They were so sweet and I couldn't be more lucky to have made such good friends with them.
